So, our weekend was a very busy one. We took Joey to the David Beckham Academy in Carson. I drove back to Ridgecrest to attend our niece’s wedding ceremony. We drove back to Los Angeles to pick up Joey, and to take Gracie to the American Girl doll store, and spend some money. We all had a good time over the weekend, but it was pretty exhausting. So many miles to drive! And all during a huge storm weekend. Luckily, we left Bishop for the worst of the storm. We came back to just a tiny bit of snow on the ground, and no shoveling – so that was great. You can click on the picture to see a gallery from the David Beckham Academy. Joey seemed to have an awesome time there. The skills part of the academy wasn’t as technical as I had hoped, but they did go over fundamentals, and you couldn’t be the facilities – the Home Depot Center is world class. In fact, the Men’s National Team was practicing there, so I also got a few pictures of them during practice (including Landon Donovan, and Freddie Adu).
